Since it opens and closes without protruding, double-hung windows are an excellent choice for rooms facing walkways, porches or patios. Milgard double-hung tilt windows have sashes that tilt inward to enable easy cleaning of the exterior glass.

Double Hung wooden sash windows have beautiful details such as a 3 ¼” tall exterior bottom rail on the sash and 14-degree exterior sloped sill. The tilt latches and the lock make the window very easy to open and create a streamlined look. A traditional spoon lock is also available.
